Professional: Basic Barista Skills Part 1 and 2

Essential course for everybody who serves coffee in their establishments.  Our team of professional and experienced barista trainers will show you the essential steps to create high quality espresso.

Master espresso extraction, milk steaming techniques, and latte art. You will be able to highlight the true potential of your espresso, master steaming techniques, latte art and cleaning and Cleaning & Maintenance of their equipment. 

During this class, attendees will get the chance to work on The Slayer Espresso and Astoria Plus4Championship.

Course Overview:

Day 1

  • 9:00am - 10:00am: Who is a Barista
  • 10:00am - 11:00am: Basic Concepts
  • 11:00am - 12:00am: Lunch Break 
  • 12:00am - 1:00pm: Lunch Break
  • 1:00pm - 2.00pm: Hands On Techniques, Cleaning & Maintenance

Day 2 

  • 9:00am - 9:30am: Review of Day 1
  • 9:30am - 10:00am Milk Basics
  • 10:00am - 12:00am Hands-on Practice, Cleaning & Maintenance
  • 12:00am - 1:00pm: Lunch Break
  • 1:00am - 2:00pm: Practical exam

    All successful participants will pass the  practical exam will receive a certificate of completion.

    Pre-requisites: None
