The Intermediate Level for Coffee Flavorists enhances their ability to understand, differentiate and communicate the complex world of coffee by focusing on the taste mechanism, various acids that contribute the sour levels to perceived sweetness, development of flavors during roasting, discussion of Furan and other coffee chemistry applications. Coffee Flavorists will use the full set of the Scentone® Aroma Standard, tasting numerous coffees and incorporate the Visual Impression Cards to improve flavor expressions.
